Readings

Students will be responsible for weekly readings as outlined in the reading list.

Things to do during the term

  • project
    • You have several paper deadlines throughout the term, and a final group presentation at the end.
  • stats quiz! Understanding basic statistics is very helpful in this course. Check out this refresher to prepare for this quick quiz. Worth 2% bonus, and I mark hard so you'll probably want that.
  • presentations! Each student will be responsible for six presentations during the term; I will discuss these in class.
  • reviews Each student will be reviewing each others' paper drafts, details to follow. You will be marked on these reviews, although your reviews do not impact other students' grades.
  • exams Your mid term and final exams will be multiple choice knowledge tests on the assigned readings. If you do the readings and do a quick refresher you should be fine. You have to pass these to pass the course.
